How can I apply for a credit card?

You can apply for a credit card by sending an SMS with BANKO followed by a space and then your ID number and date of birth in the format daymonthyear (For example; BANKO 11111111111 01021991) to 8444. Alternatively, you can apply through the following channels:

Instructed Installment

You can divide your cash purchases between 200 TL and 10,000 TL into installments for up to 3 months with Bank’O card. You can take advantage of installment payment facilities.

You can make installment transactions after your purchase by responding to the SMS sent to you or before your statement is issued through Odea Application, Odeabank Internet Banking, 444 8 444 Odeabank Communication Center, or our branches.

Details:

  • You can convert your immediate purchases into installments through instructed installment payment. 
  • Single payment purchases can be converted into installments when they fall within the billing cycle. If the statement is issued, installment cannot be arranged.
  • There is no charge for instructed installment. However, the interest rate applied for installment transactions is the same as the contractual interest determined by the Central Bank.
  • For a transaction that has been already divided into installments, you cannot request another installment.
  • You can cancel your instructed installment request until your account's closing date. In this case, the interest is refunded. For cancellation requests after the closing date, you can make an early closure. You can request early closure through 444 8 444 Odeabank Communication Center, Odea Application, Odeabank Internet Banking, and our branches.
  • You can only perform instruction-based installment transactions for public, education, and healthcare payments.
  • If the maximum installment count applied in the campaign exceeds the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) limits, installment arrangements can be made within the limits determined by the BDDK. (For example: Although 6 installments may be applicable under the campaign, according to BDDK regulations, only 3 installments may appear for your expenditure.)
  • You can access product service and fee schedules here.
  • The responsibility for the accuracy of the registered sector information of the merchant where the purchase is made lies with the merchant.
  • Odeabank A.Ş. reserves the right to change the terms of the campaign and to terminate the campaign.

Additional Card

You can issue an additional card personalized for your relatives’ names with Bank’O card, allowing your loved ones to benefit from the advantages you enjoy. You can set the limit for your additional cards yourself and easily track expenses.

You can issue up to 5 additional cards linked to your card through Odea Application, Internet Branch, and 444 8 444 Communication Center for individuals aged at least 18 and above, and from Odeabank Branches for individuals aged at least 16 and above.

Virtual Card

You can create a virtual card for more secure online and mail-order shopping and conduct your transactions swiftly. Moreover, you can determine your limit and not pay any card fees.

  • You can apply for a virtual card via Odea Application, Odeabank Internet Banking, or 444 8 444 Odeabank Communication Center.
  • While using your virtual card, you can access your card number, expiration date, and security code (CVC2) through Odea Application and Odeabank Internet Banking.
  • Virtual cards are cards that are not physically printed.
  • You can track your virtual card expenses from your main card statements.

Digital Slip

To reduce paper consumption in POS devices, you can receive a digital document instead of a physical slip for purchases made with your credit card at physical POSs.

You can choose to receive digital slip for all transactions or only for contactless transactions under the transaction limit by calling 444 8 444 Odeabank Communication Center or through Odea Application by following the menu sequence: Banking -> All -> Cards -> Credit Cards -> Choose Card -> Upper right settings -> Digital Slip Settings.

You can query, view, and share digital slips for transactions made in the last 6 months. This way, you can quickly and easily track your expenses while contributing to the environment.

USD Currency Statement

If you wish, you can receive your Bank’O Card statement either in TL only or as TL/USD. This way, your transactions made abroad or in foreign currency will be included in your USD statement, and you can easily pay from your USD account.

Limit Increase
