Odeabank, the youngest and most innovative player of the banking sector has received the “Best Customer Service” award in the International Finance Magazine Awards 2014, where the largest banks of the world compete.

Odeabank, making each one of its customers feel special with its “personalized banking” vision, adds new achievements to its international success. Odeabank has won Turkey's “Best Customer Service” award among tough competition with the customer experience created by its interactive tablet computer service at the counters in all of its branches.

Meanwhile Tayfun Küçük, Odeabank's Asisstant General Manager Responsible of Technology and also one of the architects of this success has been selected as the “Influencer of the Year” with guest votes in the Strateji Forum banking event. Tayfun Küçük evaluated the award, saying: “As Odeabank, we provide a distinctive experience to our customers in both our branches and on Direct Banking Channels. We are proud to have competed and won against well-established, big competitors.” Tayfun Küçük had also received a Bronze Stevie Award as “Information Technology Executive of the Year”.

Odeabank, which has positioned its branches as “technology bases” and knocked down the notion of conventional counters by developing the open counter concept is now providing a unique banking experience to its customers with its latest project that enables instant information flow to its customers via the tablet computers at the counters.

With this new project, the customers that visit the branches can take a look at the campaigns, follow the transaction carried out by the teller and view their receipts on the tablet screen while their transactions are made through the Windows 8 based tablet computers. Customers who wish to receive their receipts via email, can send their receipts to their email adresses in on the bank's database using the tablet computer before them. Lastly, the customers can rate the service they received, providing instant feedback on the Odeabank service quality.

Odeabank, had also received the “Most Innovative Customer Service” award with the interactive tablet installation project at the counters of all its branches in the Global Banking & Finance Review Awards 2014.
